Asbestos Work

Asbestos-work-(1)A09A2346-001

Following the Window work,  Asbestos removal came. —– Entrance area of my flat was

totally covered and shielded by Polyethylene sheet.

Big box-fan was placed to extract the air from the enclosure.  (Next photo, left, bottom, white )

Then,  the panels of  Asbestos  were removed,  and inside the whole enclosure was splayed

with cleansing liquid and it was painstakingly wiped by a man wearing full protective

gear with fully enclosed Gas-mask.  —– It was almost like a scene in a crisis  film.

At the end of the operation,  whole set-up was ripped off and taken away.

Then,  a man casually rolled-up the extractor duct-pipe run through my flat to the

outside, and took the box-fan away.  —– Amazingly without taking any measure to pay

attention to a possible fall-off of the dust from duct-pipe and the exposed fan’s filter

which was obviously having the most concentration of the dangerous asbestos dust.

So,  I realized that  this whole grand operation was a kind of ritual to justify the

expensive charge,  which is capitalizing the people’s fear.  —– M m m m.

It’s really a rotten murky world isn’t it ?    😦

At least you can feel safe about it. The second set of images looks like photos on a space station.

      Thank you Elena.
In fact, Asbestos was used every where but hidden between 2 external panels.
So that, unless it was exposed or drill through, not very dangerous, and many
original occupiers has been living safely with it 35 years. 🙂
Why change it now, must have dubious political reason. 😀
A man in the protective clothes, its head gear looks more like Si-fi though,
      I can’t show his face.

Hmmmmm, it’s all very fishy (as the expression goes), if you ask me. 🙂

      Thank you Lemony.
Like all the carcinogenic substances, —– may cause a trouble or may not.
Other than rational precaution, [worry] is useless and bad for the mental health.
      Life just goes on.

Great work, that extractor fan moving the dust could have been so dangerous!

That’s true though, the question is, what else we yet to know other danger.
Thanks to visit hear and actually read the post. 🙂
      (I make exception and De-spamm yours 😉 )
