To the Center (Shot by Vest Pocket Lens)

There was even a single grain of rice left to eat. = Noway else, I had to go to the center for shopping —– with Vest Pocket Lens on the A7R.

 

Other than a Moon shot, Vest Pocket Lens is not too bad (for general use.)   (May be better than phone-camera —– if we disregard the thousand pounds cost of camera body)   😀

Moon by Non-telephoto lens

I took a picture of the Moon too many times = It’s the same moon for the millions of nights = So,  I’m rather weary to take out my 500mm lens = I just clicked a camera with the lens happen to be on.

The camera happen to be the Sony A7R with a modified Kodak Vest Pocket Camera lens on.  With this structure of the lens, we can not hope a good focus.  Still, whatsoever the picture was made as this.  (Since the Vest pocket camera had no focusing mechanism, I wonder how the picture of the moon looked like on the original camera ? —– I haven’t tested it yet.  Sorry.)

As the lens on A7R is easy to change, I put (yet again a modified) Zeiss Baby Ikonta camera’s 50mm lens. (This lens has front-focushing = And, it was set to infinity though, the image was not sharp at all. = You may say Don’t ask too much to 90 years old antic. —– generally this lens works well = but may not for a real infinity subject.)

(In both shots, the F-aperture was fully open,  VP = F6.6 / Ikonta was F4.5 and  1/250 or so shutter speed —– because I was not intended to make any sharp image = otherwise why do I used junk lens ? )

Morning Sky on Oct’ 2018

It seems this was the only second morning red sky in this autumn.  Whether it was the matter of the angle of the Sun or the clarity of the Air, we don’t have red sky in summer.

Banksy’s Art !

There was an auction in the Southbey in London.  A painting (or splayed stencil) of Banksy was said to be sold for a £ million.  Then, at once, the picture was shredded itself by a built-in shredder. 

—– there always somebody, much cooler person in this world !

End of the season

別にこのブログは楽しいオハナシばかりを伝える義務も無いのだが、それにしても九月が全て文句たらたらに終始しているのもひどい。とはいうものの遊びに行って浮かれたと言うような写真が在る訳でも無い。ーーーそれではとカメラのメモリ一を見るとしばらく前にサヨナラの埃拶に来た（らしい）友人の写真が出てきた。

(Photo left here was taken by the Mag lens, and the right was taken by rather normal  Sony 30mm Macro F3.5 on A7R camera — I can agree, it’s better to have macro photo in a sharp image.   😀 )

(So, this photo is the proper one = taken by Canon EF 100mm Macro F2.8 with Achromatic Proxer Lens —– since the Moth was outside of a double grazed window, a longer focal lens can see the subject more straight (not in acute angle like 30mm lens) the image would be sharper.)

My blog doesn’t have an obligation to show only positive image though, seeing only the collection of complaint text on September was too bad.         So, at least, I show you the image of a friend who apparently came to my window to say a goodby.   🙂

(And this was the morning sky in this morning at 5:30 by the Omni-focus toy lens on A7R camera)  —– And I can agree a point that we can do a lots in a trivial corner of the life, like in the photography, not such as to fly away to the space.     That’s what I learned.   😀

Procure a Bribe or Extortion ?

Following this story (extract from the letter to the Leader of the Council) ~~~

 ~ ~ ~ Because of the matter seems to be potentially explosive, I decided to write direct to you.

The matter is a behavior of one of your staff Ms. N * * * * resident officer of  * * * Estate.

This woman started to visit me a year ago.   Since I’m not a British (Japanese / Ex-Journalist), live in this country since 1975 alone, (and now I’m * * years old) she might be worrying about what could happen when I die. So, asking me my emergency contact again and again (more than 5 times while all of my relatives are in Japan therefore no point to repeat the same question if not a cynical joke mocking me “lonely death” ) (You can check her past entry to her tablet or the report to her so-called manager)

~ ~ ~  Yesterday (21^st August 2018) she came again and made the same question with a pretext of a tenancy check. And asking me, if I found where to put my Art pieces, and said “Give me some” then started to mention that the fire and safety check would order to dispose my things as a fire hazard or obstruction to fire-escape, as I’m having a lot of half-finished sculptures or the material for those work. (On top of that, as I am a well-known photographer / camera critics, I got many cameras / collection of vintage cameras etc as well. )

Here the serious question is, is it your normal practice the council officer ask the tenant to give away their possession under the threat of “Fire check” while hinting an eviction ?

Isn’t this nothing but an extortion ? Or asking a bribery isn’t it ? ~ ~ ~

(It seemed that the Leader of the Council handed the matter to the Strategic Director of Housing — and from him to the senior (or manager) of above mentioned Ms.N**** )

So the man came to my place to talk about Ms.N’s “Give me” matter though he only managed to say an useless character reference “She is not a kind of woman to say like that.” = Of course she wouldn’t ask him a bribe = He is her boss, not a tenant.  The trouble was this man was a kind of person telling me that the dead room plant was caused by me kept open the window. (and exposed the plant to the outside sub-zero air ! = What an ability this man got to fabricate a story, what an imagination ! = If it was the case, the temperature indicator could have gone down to a single digit and able to make my freezing story far more dramatic. —– While using costly electric heater who need to open the window ! ) 

When I mentioned that the conversation has been sound recorded.  He said it’s not legal to record without a permission.  Yes, same as a security camera we can make a recording in our home unless it was made somebody else’s private moment like in the toilet.   As those council officers visit was a part of their official business, they can not claim a privacy.   Anyway, the officer’s words of Procurement of Bribery is in the public interest.  (Even a criminal evidence) 

And what this man could utter was the same intimidation, the Fire and Safety check against my possessions.   (I’ve been having the same possessions since I moved in here 17 years ago —– they only started to fuss about after Ms.N visited here a year ago = seemingly as a seer pretext of harassment. = And here it was used as a red herring. = The matter is not the safety issue but the Council Staff asking a bribe. )

Incidentally, about my art-pieces, you asked me “Don’t you sell ?”—– When you made this question, were you aware that those works has been listed on top of the Google’s search list (try such as >> St.Lucia, art figure    or  >> Yoshi, Zappa

Therefore, the value and the price of item may accordingly. So, your peculiar question to me “Give me” —– was this words made with the full knowledge of the situation which I afore said ?   Or were you ignorant to those matter ?

I would say it too late for you to start to argue.  See the date of my Email to you = you had over 3 weeks to think.

—– So, seemingly the battle goes on. (I wonder how they can argue and escape from this situation ? —– But as a matter of fact, the Council may not able to suck a rotten apple because of a resistance from the Trade Union ( = They would say, it is nothing wrong to receive a present as between a good friend = why she has to be singled out ?).   And the council boss may not lose his pension because of this, anyway.)   Further more, even if the fire safety chief ordered me to remove my possession, they wouldn’t take Court action to enforce it.  And neither me needs to follow.  = So, on the surface, the battle may just go on and rotten situation would just carry on = It’s a farce.       

—— I really wonder, isn’t any honest, decent people working in here ?  (Or is this an inherent culture in the south of  Themes ? —– as some cynics say = home-grown Banana Republic where a bribe is the local currency.   And as such, = superficially separated wife and the children as a self-proclaimed victim of a domestic violence,  get another flat at once together with a benefit,  then rented out one of the flat for a good money = every neighbors know it, council staff knows it, still no problem as everybody is a good friend. —– Once I staid such flat for a week. (I learned a lot.) The guy who owns it has yet another flat in the next council as well, with a different ID as a homeless.) 

The fundamental trouble here IS, even if somebody in the council suddenly developed a cancer and died, nothing would change = just other same kind will take over the job and the same situation goes on.  —– made me even more depressed. (That’s why not so many blue sky outside shot appeared in here, either no new sculpture created = other than the tinkered junk.)

1085th Post or yet another 8150

I noticed that on this blog, I published  1085 posts.  And this very  1085th post was that Southwark trouble, which went up to the Ombudsman. —– As a matter of fact, this IS the second time me to deal with Ombudsman.   On the time of the first occasion, the issue was potentially I could send the MP to impeachment.   One local politician who helped me to configure the complaint half the way, suddenly became aware of the grave implication, then dropped off the support while saying Oh, I don’t have time. —– Funnily enough it was the very moment this politician and the Party lost their political fortune.  So, the party lost local election, and that politician lost the seat too and never able to come back.  (It took another ten years for this party to regain the power in Southwark.) 

Why 1085th was so much the matter, you may say. = This IS yet another strange phenomena of 8150 jinx.  It IS a kind of omen and the intervention of the fate (what Buddhists call Karma) which is telling me the significance of THE MATTER.  It could be a warning of a risk or a notice of their support.   Since I received this sign, I’ve been dealing with this current Southwark trouble with utmost heaviest priority and the caution.  So that, while dealing with the matter, I could find the crucial information or the evidences as if it was placed there for me to use.  (So the sound recording of the visitor’s words has been kept.)   In the other hand, if something became too difficult to access, such as Mail Daemon started to say “Couldn’t find the address” = such coincident was in fact a message “Don’t go there”.    Or, other side manage to make own mistake and blow up the scandal ( = such as demonstrated the Hacking and managed to perform the Extortion.)  —– (In the past, I found quite few people who has been implicated, suddenly died, such as Paul Foot etc.= Sound dubious though, as it has happened, it must be the proof of what the person did = the consequence of cause and the effect = So, I’m pretty thrilled, who come next ? —– I’m not playing with Karma, I just watch and analyzing how it works. )

———— There are many strange stories in the following “Related Post” or among the  collection of “8150 Story” in the right column category. —– (In principal, unlike Tantra sect, I don’t believe the super natural phenomena in the Buddhism, yet still, I was said to be borne under the protection of the Fire God (hence I don’t get ill neither meet any accident, so does the 8150 follow me), though, I don’t have a power to make share price up or pretty girl drop her pants ( = how shame = when I made this joke, one of my friend said to me that I was a luckiest man because I’ve been avoiding the worst possible trouble in our life in its first place —– though, Mahayana says, that the trouble itself IS a part of our Life) = power of Zen or Buddhism only works when we have absolutely no mind / no thinking / no intention while doing the work in due in our life.)

Council hacked into the Mail

I’ve been in fighting with Southwark Council in the past 20 years (?) = their harassment and my fighting back.   It seems they don’t like a person who doesn’t succumb under their muscle especially I was not a kind of  Afghan, Vietnamese refugee but a rare Japanese photo-journalist still live in their council flat.

Latest attack was not to repair my Central Heating on the time when England had very cold spell in this February to March. When the coldest spell ended they (repair service) sent me a mail saying Sorry for the delay. This words were the evidence of that it was not caused by a technical failure on the mailing system, but they has been intentionally ignored the request while having a full knowledge of the situation.  Normally, such kind of repair work is rather simple routine = could be done within few days like both-side of my neighbours —– but this time somebody must be schemed a blockage targeting only me.

(The corner of the room, the temperature must come down sub-zero = the plant has died.  Near the kitchen where I put an electric heater, it was 13 degree C —– Is this a condition for a man in 21st century London to live ? = This is in the Southwark.)  (Dead plant must horrify the judge in the Court ! —– mandatory step to take a Court action will be complete after the Ombudsman procedure and the Court is my old playing field !)

So the matter went into the Complaint procedure, first stage, second stage, then it should go to the Local government Ombudsman.   The Ombudsman is the independent body, appointed by the Queen.  The Council can not interfere the process. They would be investigated by the same power of Hi-Court.

The funny things was, when I started to type the online form for the Ombudsman, I received a mail from the Council Repair section which says that “the CH has been repaired” —– I know it.   But the matter I’m complaining IS the damage I’ve received during the winter time. The damage has done. I had to spend extra cost for the electric heating etc.   This IS the time they has to pay for the price of their conduct.

And the more serious matter which exposed here WAS how they know that I was going to send the complaint to the Ombudsman ?

Off course, online complaint system go through the computer mail system = BY HACKING INTO MY MAIL, THEY CAN SEE WHAT I’M DOING.

This IS the very serious matter. The local government, Southwark Council is hacking the people’s mail, in order to prevent their misconduct exposed to the Ombudsman !

This is the national scale scandal. (Are they such silly people ? While leaving such clear red-handed evidence ! — or, are they going to say that it was still a coincident ? )

I found this pretty image in the net.  The original was much sharper, rather normal picture.  When I took screen copy using my homemade Mag lens, in order to avoid a moire, I gave a bit of off-focus.  It was a character of the Mag Lens, when it was off focused, the image suddenly increases the aberration thus, the image become nice soft picture.

This image was not as much as off focused like the first picture. (Just enough not to see the screen pixel, hence neither moire)

Then give a bit more off-focus.  —– Isn’t this picture looks more sexy ?  (Shame, I was not the photographer to see the lotus flower in the first place)

I think, now you were convinced to appreciate soft image !

Instamatic lens Re-try

Since, previous attempt to adopt Kodak Instamatic 304 lens had failed with my mistake, I tried it again while getting one more Instamatic Camera (still, it costed me only another £5 = somebody’s equivalent of a packet of cigaret)   😀

On the previous try, I spoiled the plastic lens, wiping with alcohol.  So, try again.  This half century old camera’s lens consists three lenses. — against to this, today’s many cheap cameras, such as one time use camera was made with just one plastic lens. (my homemade “Koda-Fun lens” etc  got all only one plastic lens. —– But, without having today’s  aspherical optical design, it needed to use three lenses then.  In deed, we came quite far. 

Though, it seems, even with three lens design, quality of the image wasn’t very good.  Somewhat acceptable was only in the center — rest of area was full of coma aberration.  (Is this, really the quality of “Kodak” camera with three lenses ?)

I think, this is something wrong.   😦
