Morning SKY – 18

N_SKY(1)-DSC_0357Took on 18-01-2018/02:41   (This photo got funny reflection of the room)

England was having only +9° weather and severe gale force wind, nevertheless the life goes on and as usual, still, a morning is keep coming.

N_SKY(2)-DSC_0358/6:45 (ISO 800, 2 sec)

Looking out the window, I noticed rather fancy sky.   (Except the last photo, all the pictures here were taken by a Nikon mount Zeiss 18 mm lens / on AV mode)

N_SKY(3)-DSC_0359/6:47 (ISO 800, 2 sec)

On front of my eyes, the Sky changes minutes by minutes.

N_SKY(4)-DSC_0360/6:49 (ISO 200, 6 sec) —– When those 6sec exposure occurred, the camera was hand-held, while the top of the lens was pushed against the window glass.  😀

N_SKY(5)-DSC_0361/6:54 (ISO 200, 6 sec)  (Notwithstanding its hand-held 6 second, the picture was surprisingly good. —– don’t you agree ?)

N_SKY(6)-DSC_0363/6:56 (ISO 200, 6 sec)

N_SKY(7)-DSC_0364/06:59 (ISO 800, 1.3 sec)

N_SKY(8)-DSC_0365/07:01(ISO 800, 1 sec)  (The light in the each picture was a different aircraft —– so many of them flying)

N_SKY(9)-DSC_0366/07:09 (ISO 800, 1/3 sec)

N_SKY(10)-DSC_0368/07:32 (ISO 200, 1/20th sec)

N_SKY(11)-DSC_0372/08:04 (ISO 100, 250th)

N_SKY(12)-DSC_0374/08:33 (ISO 100, 640th)

At last, the sun came out.

Sky–Moon–Pinhole

N-Sky(1)-DSC_3922

This photo was a morning view from the kitchen window. (But not everyday’s view.)

N-Sky(2)-DSC_3929

I was making a thin metal panel (commonly known as a drink can — I didn’t buy = I just found it.  :-D) to a DSLR Pinhole panel.   And this was the outside view then. (30-11-2017 / 16:03)

N-Sky(3)-DSC07524

The same outside was looked like this by the Pinhole !

N-Sky(4)-DSC_3931

Then next moment, the moon appeared on the sky (may be the cloud hiding her was moved away)

N-Sky(5)-DSC_3936

What ? —– I took a picture with D810 / Zeiss 18 mm lens as a fixed shot.  (16:14:40)

N-Sky(6)-DSC_3937

A while later, the moon disappeared and the sky got dark. (If you take a photo of the dark sky, they will show you a red color = may be a reflection of the city’s illumination and the shorter wave-length of light (= like blue) was attenuated easily in the earth’s atmospheres, hence the sky looked red.)

Whatsoever, have a quiet nice evening.

A7 doing Good Job or just Meddling too much ?

A7 ETC TEST(1)-_DSC2593

Quite a while, time to time (I don’t remember how many years)

I’ve been taking picture of the sky from my window.  Naturally, its

looks changes season to season, and it’s not necessary a dramatic

beautiful sky.   It’s just a sky.

A7 ETC TEST(2)-DSC_2714

As I don’t go out for drinking or look for a bottom of the girls,

watching the sky is a healthy alternative (and cost nothing.)   😀

A7 ETC TEST(3)-001

Not just watching but taking photo mean, by a camera.

So that, my Nikon with 18mm Zeiss lens has been a fixture on front

of the window quite a while.   And, — as I got Sony A7 and the adapter

to fit a Nikon lens to its E-Mount, I tested its 18mm lens on the A7 body.

—– though, the sky over dence leafy tree is a very contrasty image =

to the SONY camera.  (Canon 5D or Nikon D810 just take as it IS)

But, A7 is keep meddling (— are they try to brighten the dark shadow

of the tree ? — how do they know what image I want to have !)

DO they believe that they can make it for ME ? — how patronizing.

— should I say,”Thank you very much” OR “Silly YOU, stop it”  😦

                * * * * *

A7 ETC TEST(4)_DSC2379

Exactly the same trend to “Smart Phone” with hundreds of the

Fancy App,  Sony can do many tricks, such as the Panorama here.

(Above was a part of 18mm — 360 degree Panorama

— in my kitchen)  😀

A7 ETC TEST(5)_DSC2394

And this was a Panorama made by a 16mm Nikon Fisheye lens

(vertical line shows no distortion !)

— may be a fun to some user though, I’m very sceptic to those

too much Digital intervention.    It’s rather spoils the spirit of

the Photography than enhance it.   Spending more time gazing

at the PC screen, than to stand against the subject = we are

going into more and more virtual environment and

losing the real touch of the life.

—– And to the camera company themselves, = if the digitally

stiched-up photo is good enough, who need to buy expensive

wide-angle lens ?

Morning Sky

SKY-1-A09A4624-001

Well, most of the morning sky in the Autumn, in London are dull gray.

Still, time to time we can see the sky like this.  This was the sky on

the 17 Oct’ 2014 / 6: 46 (long before actual sunrise over the roof)

The lens used was Canon EF 40 mm F2.8 on 5D Mk-III.

SKY-2-188-001

—————————– 7:17 ——————————————- 7:19 —————————————— 7:24

The photo in the middle was by Tri-color Pinhole.

(Otherwise it looked like next — 7:24 photo)

SKY-3-189-001

————- Then, I saw the sun over the roof.   8: 08 ————————————- 9:34

In fact, the last one = 9:34 , the sky was just bright, colorless sky.

I’ve added the color by  Tri-color Pinhole. (Sky, Pink, Orange)

Sky-4--A09A4648

So, this was the cloudy sky this morning,  8:10  colored by the Tri-color Pinhole.

It’s somewhat convincing isn’t it ? —– it may looks like a Turner’s oil painting.

I like this as a good joke.   🙂
