Fortnum & Mason’s Window 2018 taken by 3 kind of Lens
Three kind of lenses were used for those photos. Looks normal straight lens was Ultra Wide Angle Lens (Sony 12~24mm F4 Zoom). And if the image has dark surroundings it was by the Pentax 110 auto 24 mm F2.8 Lens. If the image got heavy anastigmat aberration, it was by a homemade So-called Helicoid-B lens.
Some of you may not like though, never mind it wouldn’t kill you.
And I wish you a Happy New Year.

F & M Window decoration for 2017
It’s an old story still, I don’t want the staffs stuck and left over. (Get clean up before the year changes. ) 😀
Hee Ha, — of course all those photos were taken before Xmas, but I was busy making a lens. 😀
And those pictures, if the image was distorted, they were taken by Nikkor Fisheye 16mm F3.5. And the rectilinear wide-angle image were by Zeiss Distagon 18mm F3.5 —– the rest of fuzzy images were taken by a homemade G9 lens all on the Nilon D850. Thanks for watching ! (Don’t drink too much tonight.) 😀

Oxford Street, it WAS
I know, I should have done this week ago. Nevertheless, here the photos.
Those window decorations were from Selfridges —– but I wasn’t so much impressed.
(Strange green colorings in the shadow area was created by the Sony image processor. —– It IS a headache with this camera.)
So, it WAS a so-called Xmas decoration. (Now there are only Sale, Sale signs) 😀 —– Most of the photos were taken by the Homemade G9 lens. (except last one which was by Sony 30mm F3.5 and the camera was Sony A7R)

Selfridge Xmas Window 2015
Hand is a body parts which got second highest concentration of
the nerve after the eyes. And especially we human got our hands
best developed among the any animal, we have best and the most
delicate control of them. So that, not only its dexterity and the
function, its acquired the mean of expression as well.
We can read the meaning of what the hand is telling or symbolizes,
and the eyes tend to follow what the hand is expressing.
(I mean not only F**K or Peace sign but also more delicate mood
of its operator as well.) 🙂
In old days, Selfridge’s decoration was based on the Children’s Tales
— though children themselves are not the shopper, and the Xmas
itself has changed its character too = Religious to Kid’ and to the
Grownup’s Shopping event. 🙂
= So, the window decorations now are, Grownup’s fantasy !
(often, bizarre one) —– and they are fun to watch ! 🙂
The lens used for those shootings were either Canon Fish-eye 8~15mm or
homemade, so-called Gaudy Lens and the Camera was Canon 5D Mk-III.

F&M Xmas Window 2015 (A)
Yes it’s the season to see one of my favorite subject = Xmas
show-windows. And they are the Xmas window of the
Fortnum & Masons. (It’s an annual customs. Sir.) 🙂
(And for me, to shoot them, it’s the annual custom too.)
And on this post, they are rather ordinary kind of the photos.
(In my standard) 😀
I mean ordinary = By widely available Lens in normal shot.
= no artificial lighting or stage up = Just clicked straight photos.
If you think it’s looks a bit strange — don’t blame me.
Blame F&M for their crazy decoration. And if you click,
a fish-eye lens, it naturally produces this kind of image
= It’s normal nothing special.
I think I took the pictures of the same man on the door so
many times = every year he is in the same place.
(And he might be thinking too, Gosh, that photographer again.) 😀

Fortnum and Mason’s Frosty Affair
This year, the Angel or Santa Claus were nowhere to be seen in the
Fortnum & Mason’s window. Instead, said to be a Frosty Affair there.
—– I didn’t go deep into their financial affair, whether Frosty Affair was
the cause of it or the result. = anyhow, it was the show window of the products
what they are selling with a lots of snow splay. —– and the additional
clear plastic stick = meant to be icicles. M m m, is that’s all ? 🙂
Many people came down to take picture, was saying “Disappointed” 😦
Still, the camera is a simple device, what’s ever the subject, just press the button,
the picture will come out. Here they are. 🙂
